We worked closely with YHA to develop one of the most advanced Drupal websites in the world right now.
The website was planned as the central part of the organisation’s wider digital transformation, which would include other digital products like native mobile apps and in-situ touchscreens. So we built a 'headless' content hub, which served all created content to our feature-rich Drupal website – and eventually to YHA’s future digital products.
We also integrated the website with two third-party business systems, including functionality that allowed for continuously updated pricing and availability across the hostels. And we used Drupal Commerce to power the e-commerce features of the site – making significant contributions to the open-source modules to get the functionality that YHA needed.
Since its launch, the website has driven a 22% increase in basket conversion rate and a 110% increase in donations at checkout, as well an improved SEO profile for YHA.
